| Like everyone else plagued by their neighbor's dogs, and seeking any possible solution; I wasn't too sure this would work. However, I was so desperate for peace and quiet I had to try it for the relatively small cost. I accepted the delivery and with giddy childhood excitement I ripped the dazer from the packaging and ran outside. On cue, the neighbor's Pomeranian and Chihuahua (who are always outside by the way) started yapping at the sound of the sliding door opening. I pointed the dazer (I was within 30 feet) and hit the button for 2 seconds. The dazer stopped them in their tracks. Every subsequent bark got a 2 second blast. After 3 iterations the barking went more to a whimper or grumble. After 2 days of me doing this exercise, they no longer bark when I open the sliding door. When my dogs run out (who by the way NEVER bark) to go potty in the dog run they still bark but I point the dazer at them and blamo it stops and they run to the other side of their yard. It's nice because I can point the dazer and focus the signal at them without affecting my dogs. I figure after another week I won't need the dazer at all anymore. Awesome training tool to quietly and humanely eliminate annoyance barking for your neighbor's dogs!!! You have to make sure you can get within 20-30 feet though, after that it loses its effectiveness. |

I love this item! I live in a semi-rural area where lots of neighbors have dogs. I take a long walk each day. When I walk by, the dogs charge their fences and bark at me. I am not concerned about the dogs being aggressive, but I find the noise irritating. Then, I got the Dazer II.
There is one particular dog that likes to bark at me the whole length of his property line, following me along the fence as I walk by. The first day I walked by with the Dazer, he barked and I said, "Quiet," and pushed the button on the Dazer. The dog stopped barking and looked down. He followed me for a few feet and started barking again. I pushed the button, again. He stopped barking and went and hid behind a car until I passed. Nearly all the dogs on my walk act the same way. Using the Dazer once or twice is all it takes. They just stop barking and stand there. I don't know how they know to be quiet, but it works nearly every time.
I have noticed that a couple of small dogs don't seem to be affected. I am not sure why. Also, there is a range limit of about 20 ft. for good effect. Although, if you use the Dazer on a dog at close range, you can later use it at a longer range. They will be able to hear the sound, know how it feels at close range and just leave you alone.
I recommend this item without reservation. |

| I've got a german shepard and have spent hundreds of dollars on collars, batteries, whistles, invisible fences, everything on the market you can think of. But my precious Kaci still took off at least 3 times a week. I was always driving around early in the morning in my pajamas looking for her. I was at my wits end until I just happened to see the dazer on the internet.I bought it almost as a joke. I gave her one press of the button, she came running back so fast, I couldn't believe it!!! Whatever that sound is has made my life much easier. All I have to do is show it to her and she runs back as fast as she can. I still can't beleive it. Thank-you so much!! P.S. It doesn't work at all on my Pappion, my little dog. But that's okay because she doesn't take off. |

| I have 2 small dogs who bark at the neighbors when they are outside. No matter what we do, they won't stop barking. When I received the Dazzer II, I couldn't wait until they barked just to see what would happen. The instructions say to have a single command you use just before pressing the Dazzer. The dogs started barking, I said the command and then hit the Dazzer for a 1 second burst. The dogs immediately stopped and ran away from the fence. I have had the Dazzer II for 2 days and to my amazement, I have only used it 3 times. The dogs walk up to the fence very carefully and then walk away without barking. All I can say is that this really works. By the way our fence is over 50 feet from our patio and it still was heard by both dogs. |

Very impressed with this device. It worked wonders on the neighbor's dogs. They would bark non-stop when I'm in my back yard--not any more! When I aimed the device at them, both dogs ran QUICKLY and hide in the garage, tails between their legs. I have nothing against animals but the non-stop barking was getting on my nerves. I have tried talking with the neighbors about their dogs, they were unresponsive.
I did try it on another dog who barks non-stop out the homeowner's windows. It did not seem to penetrate the glass; however, the dog did hear something as it quieted his barking and his ears did twitch. It did the trick but he did not run and hide as the other dogs had done.
I would suggest this device to any one who has troubles with dogs that bark non-stop. I plan to take it overseas when visiting third world countries where dogs can get rather aggressive and the idea of getting chomped by one of these dogs is frightening. I wonder how it would work on the monkeys in India? I plan to buy another one and give it to a friend as an early Xmas present! |
