I was skeptical. But this isn't a dog whistle.
It gets my dog's attention and takes her out of the moment. She forgets what she was barking at. If your dog isn't easily "taken out of the moment" and distracted, this probably won't work for you.
Definitely use an additional hand or voice command for a better response. |

| Neighbor's noisy yapper made me nuts everytime I walked into my backyard. I tried the friendly, "nice doggie approach" to no avail. So I bought the Dog Dazer II and it worked like a charm. Now the yapper keeps to himself quietly when I appear, and that's just fine with me. |

| I love this remote. I pull it out when company is coming over and the dogs run away. If the dog it barking or scratching on the door I just push the button and they stop! |

| had my doubts, but it really shut up the neighbors dog. I tried talking to it, etc. Now, I just say no then press the button. The dog just kind of stops and walks away. before it would bark and attack at me angrily jerking to the end of its chain. |

| I can't say enough about the Dazer II. My two dogs would bark at everything (people, squirrels, bunnies, dogs) but after just a few uses of the Dazer II they no longer bark, but sit and watch the activities outside. From the first time I used it they stopped mid bark and were curious to find out where the noise came from. It took their mind off what they were barking at. I just used the word "quiet" and pushed the Dazer once and they would stop. After just a few days all I had to do was say "quiet" and they would stop barking. We now have a much more peaceful house. Well worth the money. |
